I saw Dr Prabir Chakraborti at Stoke Mandeville about some cancerous conditions that I am experiencing at present. The said doctor carefully explained to me my condition and also carefully explained the course of action that would be taking place in the next couple of months. Dr Chakreborti not only was very knowledgeable about the actions, but also explained them in terms that I could understand. He also had a human touch about the actions. He made me feel that he and his organisation would do everything that they could do to ensure that I had the best possible outcome. Also present with me was my wife and Dr Chakraborti also included her in the consultancy process to ensure that she understood. I would recommend this doctor to anyone.

I am confident in Dr Chakraborti's advice and his treatment has been successful for me so far. Thank you. He always has a plan when we meet but I think it would help me if he was able to explore my experience / feelings before reaching a final conclusion. Dr Chakraborti tries to ensure each patient has the time he/ she needs but that sometimes means I have had to wait for quite time for my appointment. That can be difficult for people transporting me. There seems to be a lot of work to input into the NHS systems; sometimes a print of the latest treatment plan after each consultation would help me.

Dr Chakraborti put my Mum at ease when explaining her treatment and gave her plenty of time - we did not feel rushed or 'just another' patient. He addressed comments directly to her whilst also ensuring that I, as her carer, also understood the process and treatment suggested. Lovel to be seen by someone with good humour and patient manner

Dr Chakraborti has been my oncologist since September 2019. He put me on Targeted therapy That had just come into the UK in August of that year. It shrank my tumour from 4.2 cm down to 2.2 within 6 months. I was able to have this removed in 2020. He listens to patients point of view aswell as using his own expertise in the subject. Saw him today again always asks how your getting on and listens to you. Very happy with this Doctor

Dr Chakrabarti is a Master at placing you at ease. His humour is infectious and helps to engender trust. He listens to one's concerns and gives one the feeling that you are the only patient he has to deal with. I give him the highest marks for both his people skills and clinical expertise. I always leave his office feeling upbeat and invigorated.
